State Symbols of India: Flowers, Trees, Animals and Birds


India has 28 states and 8 Union territories. Except few Union territories, almost all the states and Union territories have their own state symbols like flowers, trees, animals, birds, etc. In addition to these state symbols of India, the country has its own national symbols. Some of the states have some symbols in common because of their geographical proximity.
